Another Update...

Book One prologue:
Though the Universe was created about 15 billion years ago, time was recorded differently on Earth. Originally it was started when Human life first began. But in the year 13029 a Great War between all civilizations occurred and the world was in danger of total annihilation. But just before the world was hurled into absolute Armageddon, the war ended. Many were unsure of how it happened, as it happened so quickly. Many believed it was because the hearts of those who started and maintained the war just changed their minds and wished for peace. Eventually though, most lost interest as to why it ended and just accepted the peace. But after this Great War, it was decided time would be reset; to mark a new beginning. Humankind began recording time starting at 0 NB (New Beginning.) From this point on we focused first on curing and inventing ways to extend and help Human life. For almost a thousand years all worked at improving and preserving life, it took many years, but we were successful, as just about all diseases were cured. Life was even extended; many people lived for hundreds of years. So after conquering our instincts for war and death, and gaining peace and health, Mankind began looking to the Stars. And for many more centuries mankind researched and developed many new technologies. In the year 2007 NB, though all nations were peaceful towards one another, it was decided that all nations should unite into one complete and unified Government. In doing this they were able to work for and accomplish the finest of Human achievements, the one thing they had been trying to do for many years. Scientists were able to create a means in which to travel much faster than the speed of light. With this new technology we were able to travel to one of our neighboring Star Systems, the Alpha Centauri System. When the shuttle first dropped down on the surface of the first habitable Planet we called “Hope” in March of 2009 NB. We were also given an answer to the age old question: are we alone in the Universe? To put it simply… no, we were far from alone.
