Book One:
Red
"Life and Light Begin."
First the Universe was but pure darkness, ruled by ones deemed "The Dark Ones." They relished and grew powerful in the shadows for Billions of years. But a single star where beings of pure light lived, defied the darkness, they wished for life and light to begin in the universe. The Dark Ones wished for no such thing, so a great and terrible war began. Both Light and Darkness fought for millennia's, but eventually The Light defeated The Dark Ones. They then used all of their power to ignite and start the Universe, which in essence created all life. They created special planets to imprison The Dark Ones. And for billions of years there was peace and growth. But the Light beings knew this peace would not last, and that The Dark Ones would eventually escape and try to destroy all light and life. So they set into motion a plan, a series of events of which would stop the Dark Ones, should they ever return. The Light beings found that Humans were different than all other races in the Universe, they found that they had the potential to overcome any obstacle in their way. They also believed they could defeat Darkness once and for all. So a healthy Human being was needed, and part of The Light's own essence was to be given to him, which would instill powerful abilities needed for him to fulfill his destiny. They acted as Fate to help two chosen Humans meet and fall in love. The two Humans did, and they soon had a child. This child was chosen to be the last hope for the survival of all life in the Universe. The child's name was Jak, he was half Human and half light energy. He was created for one singular purpose… to keep balance and light in the Universe...
But his purpose would prove to be more difficult than he and his creators could have ever imagined.
